On Tuesday 29 November 2022, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, Australian War Memorial, attended the launch of the portrait of the late Corporal Cameron Baird VC MG.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a morning tea for representatives of the Five Power Defence Arrangements.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received His Excellency Mr Werner Guerra, Ambassador of El Salvador, and Mr Roger Atwood.
