On Tuesday 6 December 2022, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), received a phone call from Ms Kim Brislane, Chief Executive Officer, Asbestos Diseases Research Institute.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, met with students and teachers from Lismore Public School.

Later, the Governor-General received a phone call from Dr Tim White, Director, Kapani Warrior.

Then, the Governor-General hosted a reception for graduands of ADFA and Royal Military College.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Michael Bergmann, Director, attended the New Colombo Plan 2023 Scholarships Awards Presentation Ceremony.
