On Tuesday 14 February 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received a phone call from His Excellency Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae GCL GCMG KStJ, Governor-General of Papua New Guinea.   

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Mrs Hurley, hosted an investiture ceremony for Dr Margaret Humphreys CBE AO.
