On Monday 6 March 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, received Ms Clare Duffield, Assistant Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.   

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a morning tea for the Indonesian Parliamentary delegation as part of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Canberra Fellowships Program.

Later, the Governor-General received Ms Phoebe Smith, High Commissioner-designate to the Cook Islands.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley, hosted a presentation ceremony for new Fellows and Life Members of the Australian Institute of Health and Safety.
