On Wednesday 29 March 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received a phone call from Ms Anne Hollonds, National Children’s Commissioner.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received a phone call from General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK AC(Mil) CVO MC (Retd).

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Linda Hurley, as joint Patrons, hosted an afternoon tea for Integra Service Dogs Australia.

Later, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley hosted a presentation ceremony for the General Sir John Monash Foundation’s 2023 scholarship recipients.
