On Tuesday 13 June 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley recorded a video message for Scouts Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General recorded video messages for the Australian Antarctic Division and NAIDOC Week.

Later, the Governor-General received a phone call from Councillor Sue Moor, Mayor, Singleton Council.

Then, the Governor General received His Excellency Martinus van Schalkwyk, High Commissioner for South Africa, for a farewell call.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received representatives of Charles Sturt University, including Professor Renée Leon PSM, Vice-Chancellor and President; Dr Jonathan Cole, Acting Executive Director, Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture; Mr Brendan Smyth, Chair; and Ms Genevieve Jacobs AM, Board Member.

Later, the Governor-General received Her Excellency Marion Derckx, Ambassador of Netherlands, for a farewell call.

Then, the Governor-General received the Address of Congratulations to His Majesty the King from Ms Peggy Danaee, Serjeant-at-Arms, Department of the House of Representatives.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a dinner for Mayors of regions from across Australia.
