On Friday 7 July 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), received the final report of the Royal Commission into the Robodebt Scheme from Commissioner Catherine Holmes AC SC.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley as guests of Mr Ivan Slavich, Chief Executive Officer, attended the 2023 KEEPUP Kanga Cup Grand Finals.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received the Honourable Scott Ryan, Australian High Commissioner to Canada.
