On Friday 15 September 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia honours and bravery decorations.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received members of Gideons International, including Dr Charles Foster, National President; Mrs Helen Rowe, National Auxiliary President; and Mr Mark Bensley, National Executive Director.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted an Investiture Dinner.
