On Monday 18 September 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) as Patron, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, hosted backyard Cricket games for the Learning for a Better World (LBW) Trust and Cricket ACT. Participating schools included: St Edmund’s College, Islamic School of Canberra, Amaroo School, St Michael’s Primary School, Evelyn Scott School, Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School, Emmaus Christian School, Holy Trinity Primary School, Turner School, Curtin Primary School, Kaleen Primary School, Chapman Primary School, St Thomas Aquinas Primary School, St Bede’s Primary School, Arawang Primary School, Theodore Primary School, and Taylor Primary School.
