On Tuesday 3 October 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received Professor Tom Calma AO.  

Then, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley met with students from St Ignatius School, Toowong, Queensland.  

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for students and teachers of Clifton Creek Primary School, Victoria.
