On Tuesday 10 October 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) met with students from Miners Rest Primary School, Victoria.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for the Queensland Community Care Network.

Later, the Governor-General met with students from Melbourne Grammar School, Victoria.
