On Thursday 9 November 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

Then, the Governor-General, as Patron of Legacy Australia, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a morning high tea for Legacy Widows.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr Wolfgang Strohmayer, Ambassador of Austria, for a farewell call.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Patron of Legacy Australia, and Mrs Hurley, hosted a afternoon high tea for Legacy Widows.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, received Ms Vicki Miller, Chief Executive Officer, Shake It Up Australia; and members of the National Parkinson’s Action Plan Taskforce.
