On Tuesday 28 November 2023, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) recorded a video message for the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Uruguay.

Then, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley recorded a video message for the International Day of People with Disability.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley received Ms Belinda Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, Bravery Trust; and Bravery Trek volunteers: Mr Murray Bruce, and his partner Ms Judy Anderson; and Mr Singh Talwar, and his wife Ms Naini Singh.

Later, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr Manpreet Vohra, High Commissioner for India.

In the afternoon, Mrs Hurley as guest of Ms Roula Azar, President, attend the 2023 Association of Spouses of Heads of Mission (ASHOM) Christmas Function.

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Tiffany McDonald, Head of Mission–designate, ASEAN.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Kate Chamley, Head of Mission–designate, Mauritius.

Later, the Governor-General presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for overseas members of the Australian Command and Staff Course.
