On Wednesday 6 December 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a boxing session and breakfast for members of the Tribal Warrior Our Clean Slate Without Prejudice program.

Afterwards, the Governor-General recorded a video message for Tribal Warrior.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Iain Strutt, attended the 100th birthday celebration of Mrs Linda Banks.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Sydney, New South Wales, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for members of the Royal Australian Air Force No. 34 Squadron.
