On Friday 6 December 2019, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Air Commodore Matt Hegarty CSC, Commandant, Australian War College, and Professor Mike Calford, Provost, Australian National University, attended the 2019 Australian Command and Staff Course graduation ceremony.

Afterwards, Mrs Hurley received representatives of Cancer Council ACT including Mr Roger Buckley, Board President; Ms Christine Brill, Board Director, and Ms Sandra Turner, CEO.
