Later, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley received Mr Andrew Goledzinowski AM, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam, and Mr Kim Garling, Assistant Secretary, Vietnam Section, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received His Excellency Mr Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and Madam Lê Thị Bích Trân.
Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Karen Bray, Australian High Commissioner to Kiribati.
Later, Mrs Hurley attended a spouse's program with Madam Trân, spouse of the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Then, the Governor-General received a video call from Ms Danielle Heinecke, Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Ms Megan Doherty, Journalist, Canberra Times.
Later, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Unity College, Caringbah, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House.
Then, the Governor-General received a phone call from Mr Jarrod Wheatley and Mr Bernie Shakeshaft.
Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley, hosted an afternoon tea for participants of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation's TRAIL Program.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received His Excellency Mr Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, and Dr Wan Azizah Ismail.
Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Stella Maris Catholic School, Beaumaris, Victoria, as they undertook a tour of Government House.
