On Tuesday 12 March 2024, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley hosted a morning tea for the Military Christian Fellowship.
In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley received Letters of Credence from His Excellency Mr Atadurdy Bayramov accrediting him as the non-resident Ambassador of Turkmenistan. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Gurbanmuhamed Amanliyev, First Secretary, Embassy of Turkmenistan.
In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for the Royal Commonwealth Society of the Australian Capital Territory.
