On Tuesday 9 April 2024, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) recorded video messages for Eid al-Fitr and ANZAC Day.  

Then the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours, Conspicuous Service Decorations and Meritorious Service Awards.  

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley recorded content for the Governor-General’s 2024 ANZAC Day Address.
