On Thursday 26 September 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC hosted the swearing in of Mr Branko Ananijevski as Secretary to the Federal Executive Council. 

Then, the Governor-General presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council

Afterwards, the Governor-General gave Royal Assent to legislation. 

Later, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Connells Point Primary School, Connells Point, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House.

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Pacific Palms Public School, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Rear Admiral Jonathon Earley CSC RAN, Head of Military Strategic Commitments, Lieutenant Colonel Tennille Marsh, and Major Gabrielle Taylor.

Then, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Barham Public School, Barham, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House.
