On Wednesday 20 November 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC received Ms Olivia Phongkham, Head of Mission Designate to Niue.

Then, the Governor-General received Commissioner Miriam Gluyas, Territorial Commander, and Chair; and Colonel Rodney Walters, Secretary of Communications, The Salvation Army Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC received Her Excellency Ms Caroline Kennedy, Ambassador of the United States of America.

Later, the Governor-General received Mr Joe Buffone PSM, Deputy Coordinator General, Emergency Management and Response Group, National Emergency Management Agency.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted a lunch for Ms Nicola Forrest.

Then, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Westlawn Public School, Grafton, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House

Later, the Governor-General received Dr Tessa Boyd-Caine, Chief Executive Officer, Australia's National research Organisation for Women's Safety.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guests of Major-General Greg Melick AO RFD SC (Retd), Chair, attended the Annual CEW Bean Foundation Dinner.
