On Tuesday 4 February 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC as guest of Mr David Smith MP and Senator Matt O’Sullivan, Government Whip and Opposition Deputy Whip in the Senate, attended a Parliamentary Christian Fellowship Ecumenical Service. 

Then, the Governor-General received Letters of Credence accrediting Her Excellency Beatriz De La Fuente as the Ambassador of the Republic of Chile. The Ambassador was accompanied by Ms. María Fernanda Gómez Astudillo, Deputy Head Of Mission; Mr. Ángel Javier Garcîa Fernandez, Second Secretary; and Captain Carlos Rodrigo Ruiz Quiñones, Defence and Naval Attaché. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and teachers of St Joan of Arc Primary School, Victoria, as they undertook a school tour of Government House.

Later, the Governor-General received Letters of Credence accrediting Her Excellency Mrs Chitralekha Yadav as the Ambassador of Nepal. The Ambassador was accompanied by her spouse Dr Shreekrishna Yadav and Mr Bhogendra Lingden, First Secretary. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and teachers of Sacred Heart Primary School, Kew, Victoria, as they undertook a school tour of Government House.

Then, the Governor-General received Letters of Credence accrediting His Excellency Mr Rogelio Cucalón García as the Ambassador of the Republic of Panama. The Ambassador was accompanied by his spouse Ms Evelyn Ferro Torrazza and Ms Eunice Aimee Villaverde Flores De Cortizo, Cultural Attaché.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with students and teachers of AB Paterson College, Arundel, Queensland, as they undertook a school tour of Government House.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted lunch for recently and newly accredited Heads of Missions. Guests included: Her Excellency Mrs Victoria Marguerite Treadell CMG MVO, representing the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and High Commissioner for the United Kingdom;  His Excellency Mr Stavros Venizelos, Ambassador of Greece, Ms Larisa Tikaidi and Ms Manon Dumas, Deputy Head of Mission; Her Excellency Dr Julie Sunday, High Commissioner for Canada; Her Excellency Mrs Beatriz De La Fuente Fuentes, Ambassador of the Republic of Chile and Ms María Fernanda Gómez Astudillo, Deputy Head of Mission; Her Excellency Mrs Chitralekha Yadav, Ambassador of Nepal and Dr Shree Krishna Yadav; His Excellency Mr Rogelio Cucalon Garcia, Ambassador of Panama and Ms Evelyn Ferro Torrazza; Mr George Mina, Deputy Secretary Strategic Planning and Coordination Group; and Mr Jonathan Muir, Chief of Protocol, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Later, the Governor-General received Dr Nick Mitzevich, Director of the National Gallery of Australia.
