On Thursday 6 February 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council.  

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Taryn Brumfitt, Founder, The Body Image Movement and Dr Zali Yager, Executive Director, The Embrace Collective.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Dr Margaret Humphreys CBE AO; Mr William Lye OAM KC and Mr Ian Thwaites, Child Migrant Trust. 

Later the Governor-General recorded a video message for the Australian Bravery Association and Women in Customs. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received Dr Maxine Cooper, Chair, Landcare ACT; and Ms Melanie Tyas, National Landcare Facilitator.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Lieutenant General the Right Honourable Sir Jerry Mateparae GNZM QSO KStJ, former Governor-General of New Zealand.  

Later, the Governor-General hosted a reception for the Churchill Trust Medallion Presentation.
