On Wednesday 5 March 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, attended the Institute of Public Administration Australian International Women’s Day 2025 breakfast at the National Arboretum.  

Then, the Governor-General recorded a video message for the Parliamentary Education Office and The Big Issue International Women's Day celebration. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General participated in a phone call with Councillor Sharon Caldwallader, Mayor, Ballina Shire Council. 

Later, the Governor-General participated in a phone call with Councillor Steve Krieg, Mayor, Lismore City Council. 

In the Afternoon, the Governor-General participated in a phone call with Councillor Donna Gates, Acting Mayor, City of Gold Coast Council. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Jodie Redcliffe, Chief Executive Officer, attended the Nuffield Australia Dinner at Parliament House.
