On Tuesday 11 March 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, visited and donated blood at the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Donor Centre, Garren. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Bishop Druitt College, Coffs Harbour.  

Then, the Governor-General participated in a phone call with Councillor Tom Sharp, Mayor, Scenic Rim Council.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General participated in a phone call with Councillor Chris Wilson, Deputy Mayor, Lockyer Valley. 

Later, the Governor-General participated in a phone call with Councillor Robert Mustow, Mayor, Richmond Valley Council.  

In the evening, the Governor-General, as Patron, and guest of Mr Matt Linnegar, Chief Executive, Australian Rural Leadership Foundation, attended a fireside conversation with the participants of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation TRAIL Leadership Program at Outward Bound Australia.
