On Tuesday 18 February 2020, at Government House, Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley, as Patron, hosted a garden tour and morning tea for residents and carers of L’Arche Genesaret.

Afterwards, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received representatives from the Order of St John in Australia: Professor Mark Compton AM GCStJ, Lord Prior; Mr Len Fiori KStJ, Priory Secretary; and Mr Cameron Oxley KStJ, Chancellor.

Later, the Governor-General received Dr Alan Finkel AO, Australia’s Chief Scientist and Ms Sarah Brown, Chief of Staff, for a call.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Dr Gordon de Brouwer PSM, National President, attended the 40th Anniversary of the Institute of Public Administration Australia at Old Parliament House.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Hwyel Sims, President, Musica Viva, attended a performance by Mr Garrick Ohlsson at Llewellyn Hall, ANU School of Music.
