On Sunday 15 March 2020, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Reverend Canon Paul Black, Rector, attended the 175th anniversary of the consecration of St John's Anglican Church.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr Jonathan Palmer PSM, Co-Convenor, met with residents involved in establishing Australia's first 'Bee Friendly Community' at Hall Village.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Sarah Sydrych, President, presented the Duke of Gloucester Sash at the 2020 National Sheep Dog Trial Championships at Hall Village Showground.
