On Monday 29 July 2019, His Excellency, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) received the Honourable Ken Wyatt AM MP, Minister for Indigenous Australians at Government House, Canberra.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley received Mr Geoff Tooth, Australian Ambassador-designate to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and Ms Joanne Stirling for a pre-posting call.

Later, the Governor-General received Mr Ewen McDonald, Head, Office of the Pacific, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
