On Friday 13 January 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Brisbane, Queensland.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley attended the Governor-General’s XI cricket match between Australia and Pakistan.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a presentation ceremony for players and team members of the Governor-General's XI.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Brisbane, Queensland, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
