On Friday 8 November 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Councillor Paul Culhane, Mayor, attended a community lunch in Crookwell, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General attended an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours in Crookwell, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General as guest of Ms Sonja Firth, President, Curtin Primary School Parents and Citizens Association, attended the Curtin Primary School Twilight Fair.

In the evening, the Governor-General and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guest of Ms Liesel Wett OAM, attended the UC Capitals vs Bendigo Spirit Women’s National Basketball League game.
