On Friday 13 March 2020, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Kangaroo Island to Adelaide, South Australia.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as Patron, and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Ms Annie Gibbins, Chief Executive Officer, Glaucoma Australia, attended the Glaucoma Australia Patient Symposium to help recognise World Glaucoma Week.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Dr Sue King, Chair and Mr Simon Schrapel AM, Chief Executive Officer, Uniting Communities, opened the U City Building.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Sharon Kendall, SA Regional Chief Executive Officer, Little Company of Mary (Calvary) Health Care, visited the new Calvary Adelaide Hospital.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, and returned to Government House.
