On Tuesday 20 August 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Launceston, Tasmania. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Vanessa Cahoo, Chief Executive Officer, visited the Craig Clifford Foundation. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Jenny Bertram, Chief Executive Officer, visited Magnolia Place.

Later, the Governor-General travelled from Launceston to Hobart, Tasmania. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Matthew Devenish, Chief Executive Officer, visited Pathways Tasmania.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General met with Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania, at Government House Tasmania.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Karen Rees, Conveyor, visited the 'Through Our Eyes' exhibition at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery as part of the Australian Antarctic Festival.

Afterwards, the Governor-General met with Ms Emma Campbell, Director of the Australian Antarctic Division.
