Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Lismore, New South Wales

On Tuesday 28 February 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Lismore, New South Wales.  

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Councillor Steven Krieg, Mayor, Lismore City Council, attended a presentation ceremony for members of the ‘Tinnie Army’.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Councillor Steven Krieg, attended a memorial service on the first anniversary of the 2022 Lismore Floods.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Lismore, New South Wales, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
