On Saturday 28 January 2023, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, travelled from Canberra Australian Capital Territory, to Melbourne, Victoria.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Jayne Hrdlicka, Chair, and Mr Craig Tiley, Chief Executive Officer, Tennis Australia, attended the Australian Open 2023 Women’s Final.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Melbourne, Victoria, to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
