Canberra, Australian Capital Territory; Singapore; Dubai, United Arab Emirates

On Sunday 15 December 2019, following the departure of the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), from Australia on a visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Iraq, and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to visit Australian military and diplomatic personnel, the proclamation assuming the Administration of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia was signed by His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC.

Whilst transiting through Singapore, the Governor-General and her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley were met by His Excellency Mr Bruce Gosper, High Commissioner to Singapore.

Upon arrival in Dubai, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley were met by His Excellency Mr Arthur Spyrou, Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, and Mrs Britt Spyrou.
