On Saturday 22 February 2020, in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Reverend David Campbell, attended the Men's Breakfast at The Presbyterian Church of St Andrew's.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Don Spinks AM, Repatriation Commissioner, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, attended the National Service and reception to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Rwanda.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley as guests of Lieutenant Colonel Jamie van Heel, Australian Capital Territory Coordinator, attended the National Day of Prayer and Fasting on the lawns of Parliament House.

Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
