On Friday 2 August 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC recorded video messages for National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day, and Bravery Awards.   

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Julie Tongs OAM, Chief Executive Officer, visited and met with staff and clients of Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health and Community Services. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, to Sydney, New South Wales.
