On Friday 28 February 2020, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received the Honourable Patricia Forsythe AM, High Commissioner to New Zealand, for a call.

Later, the Governor-General received the Right Honourable Jacinda Ardern MP, Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Then, the Governor-General travelled to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory and returned to Government House.
