On Thursday 21 November 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council. 

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, guest of Professor Elizabeth More AM, visited a Flourish Australia Women and Children’s Centre. 

Then, the Governor-General received Ms Renee Wilson, Chief Executive Officer; and Ms Tricia Hobson, Board Chair, Families of Veterans Guild. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, guest of Mr David Riordan, Chief Executive Officer, attended a reception for Donors and Volunteers of The Public Education Foundation.
