On Thursday 20 February 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC presided at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council. 

Then, the Governor-General as guest of Ms Marissa Owens, Executive Teacher, attended the Bonython Primary school 2025 leadership Conference.  

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Susannah Hodson, Head of Mission Designate for the Cook Islands. 

Later, the Governor-General, as keynote speaker and guest of Mr Gregory Booner, Club President, attended the Capital Lecture series at the Commonwealth Club. 

Then, the Governor-General received Dr Loren Miller, Jess Bulger, Helene de Lagilardaie, and Ellie Hargrave, Outward Bound Australia. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Ms Jody Broun, Chief Executive Officer, National Indigenous Australians Agency.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales.
