On Thursday 17 April 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Sydney, New South Wales. 

Then, the Governor-General participated in an interview with 2GB radio. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Professor Roger Reddel, Executive Director, visited the Children's Medical Research Institute.
