On Wednesday 9 December 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory to Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Wing Commander Gina Kimmins, Commanding Officer, attended the No. 1 Recruit Training Unit Graduation Parade and Ceremony.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Mayor Dallas Tout, Mayor, attended a civic reception.

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

In the evening, the Governor-General and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC hosted a reception for supporters of Government House.
