Ceremonial Arrival of the President of the Republic of Cyprus; State Dinner in Honour of the President of the Republic of Cyprus

On Wednesday 25 May 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the Minister for Defence, the Honourable Stephen Smith MP.

Afterwards, at Defence Establishment Fairbairn, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE attended the Ceremonial Arrival of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, His Excellency Mr Demetris Christofias and Mrs Elisavet Christofia.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce received the President of the Republic of Cyprus and Mrs Christofia.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a State Dinner in honour of the President of the Republic of Cyprus and Mrs Christofia.
