Changi, Singapore; Muharraq Island, Kingdom of Bahrain; Le Bourget, France; Paris, France

On Tuesday 27 August 2024, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC and Mr Simeon Beckett SC travelled from Changi, Singapore, to Bahrain International Airport, Bahrain, to Le Bourget Airport, France. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guests of Ms Kate McLoughlin, Chef de Mission, attended an Oceania Welcome Ceremony and met with residents of the Paralympics Athletes Village. 

Then, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guests of Her Excellency Ms Gillian Bird PSM, Australian Ambassador to France, attended a program briefing at the Australian Embassy, Paris. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Beckett, as guests of Her Excellency Ms Gillian Bird PSM, Australian Ambassador to France, attended a dinner at the Australian Embassy, Paris.
