Children's Medical Research Institute; The Shepherd Centre; Bronwyn Bancroft's Exhibition, 'Passion, Power, Politics'

On Thursday 2 February 2012, at the Children’s Hospital, Westmead, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as guests of the Director, Professor Roger Reddel, viewed research activities and met with staff at the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

Afterwards, at The Shepherd Centre, Darlington, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce, as guests of the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Jim Hungerford, received an overview of the centre’s support services and met with staff, children and families.

Later, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General received Managing Director, Australian School of Performing Arts, Ms Nicole Muir.

In the evening, at the Carriageworks, Eveleigh, the Governor-General, as a guest of the Director of the Carriageworks, Ms Lisa Havilah, officially opened Bronwyn Bancroft’s exhibition titled ‘Passion, Power, Politics’.
