Credential Ceremonies and Reception

On Tuesday 17 May 2011, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received from His Excellency Mr Hynek Kmonicek, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Czech Republic. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Radim Pecl (Counsellor).

Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Omar Gibril Sallah, Letters of Commission accrediting him as High Commissioner for the Republic of The Gambia.

Later, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Alisher Kurmanov, Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Sherzod Asadov (Third Secretary).

In the afternoon, the Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE hosted a reception in honour of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, the High Commissioner for the Republic of The Gambia, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
