Credentials
On Tuesday 3 December 2013, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received from His Excellency Mr Shmuel Ben-Shmuel, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of Israel. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Meir Itzchaki (Deputy Head of Mission), Ms Dorit Herscovici (First Secretary), and Ms Anat Ben-Shitrit (Counsellor).
Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Arega Hailu Teffera, a Letter of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Negash Legesse Tesfay (Minister Counsellor), Mr Graham Romanes (Honorary Consul), and Mr Getaneh Ashagre (Administration and Head of Finance). The Governor-General and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE also received Mrs Etsegenet Asfaw Alemayehu.
Later, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Dr Igor Bartho, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mrs Anna Petrášová (First Secretary).
Then, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Dr Sabri Kiqmari, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce hosted a Credentials reception.
