Credentials; Social Ventures Australia

On Thursday 26 July 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO received from His Excellency Mr Reha Keskintepe, Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey. The Ambassador was accompanied by Ms Sibel Müderrisoğlu (First Counsellor), Mr Taylan Özgür Aydin (Second Secretary) and Colonel Sadik Cebeci (Military Attaché).

Afterwards, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Phomma Khammanichanh, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mrs Vilavanh Yiapoher (Counsellor) and Mr Siriphonh Phyathep (Second Secretary). The Governor-General also received Ms Khanhxay Pholsena.

Later, the Governor-General received writer, journalist and author, Dr Anne Summers AO.

Then, the Governor-General hosted a Credentials Reception.

In the evening, at Sydney Town Hall, the Governor-General, as guest of the Chair, Mr Paul Robertson AM, and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Michael Traill AM, delivered the keynote address at the 10th anniversary dinner of Social Ventures Australia.
