Credentials; University Colleges Australia

On Wednesday 26 September 2012, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC CVO, received from His Excellency Dr Hassan El-Laithy, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Sherif Bederi Hussein (First Secretary) and Mr Omar Abdallah Elsheikh (Third Secretary).

Afterwards, the Governor-General received from Her Excellency Mrs Johanna Ruigrok, Letters of Credence accrediting her as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Nicolaas Schermers (Counsellor), Lieutenant Colonel Herman Verhoef (Defence Attaché) and Mr Frank Effting (Attaché). The Governor-General also received Mr Edward Peet.

Later, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Jérôme Kloh Weya, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Republic of Côte D’Ivoire. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Shannon Assi (Counsellor). The Governor-General also received Mrs Solange Weya.

Then, the Governor-General received from His Excellency Mr Kesang Wangdi, Letters of Credence accrediting him as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bhutan. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Kuenzang Dechen (Counsellor).

In the afternoon, the Governor-General received the Director of Rhonda Galbally Associates, Dr Rhonda Galbally AO.

In the evening, the Governor-General, hosted a reception for delegates attending the University Colleges Australia Annual Conference.
