On Sunday 25 April 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Mr Stephen Gloster, President, Darwin RSL Sub-Branch, attended the Darwin Anzac Day Dawn Service.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled to Katherine, Northern Territory.
Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Her Worship the Mayor Mrs Elisabeth Clark, attended the Katherine Anzac Day March and Anzac Day Community Morning Tea at Katherine Country Club.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Her Worship the Mayor Mrs Elisabeth Clark, met with staff and community representatives of the Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Cultural Centre.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley travelled to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Australian Soldier at the Australian War Memorial.
