On Saturday 3 August 2019, Their Excellencies, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Ms Nichole Vincent, Chief Commissioner, visited Scouts Australia’s Northern Territory Branch in Howard Springs, Northern Territory.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Mrs Meredith Parry, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, Operations, visited the Centre for Youth and Community Music at Charles Darwin University, Darwin.

Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a picnic to celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day at the Botanic Gardens, Darwin.
